Product Import

Maxina connects to your WooCommerce store and automatically imports your entire product catalog. It doesn't just copy text — it enriches every product with AI-powered analysis of images and videos.

How Import Works

When a product is discovered (via webhook or manual sync), Maxina processes it through three parallel lanes:

📝 Text Lane (Instant)

  • Product title, description, price, and attributes are indexed immediately
  • The AI can search and reference the product within seconds
  • Attributes are normalized automatically (e.g., "Half a kilo" → 500 g)

🖼️ Image Lane

Each product image is:

  1. Downloaded from your store
  2. Stored securely in cloud storage
  3. Analyzed by AI Vision to extract:
    • Colors — dominant colors in the image
    • Tags — visual descriptors (e.g., "leather", "sneaker", "outdoor")
    • OCR — any text visible in the image (brand names, labels)
    • Description — a natural language description of the image

🎬 Video Lane

If your products include videos (e.g., WoodMart theme video fields):

  1. Videos are downloaded and optimized
  2. AI analyzes the video to extract:
    • Visual description — what's shown in the video
    • Audio transcript — spoken words transcribed to text
    • Tags — visual and topical tags

Automatic Sync

After the initial import, Maxina keeps your catalog in sync:

TriggerWhat Happens
New product created in WooCommerceWebhook → auto-imported
Product updated in WooCommerceWebhook → re-imported with changes
Manual "Sync Now" buttonFull catalog re-checked
tip

Maxina uses smart sync — it only re-processes products that have actually changed since the last sync, saving time and resources.
